91% isopropyl + a toothbrush revives dead pots and jacks

Crackly knobs and intermittent jacks are usually oxidized crud, not bad parts. Scrub with 91% IPA and a brass toothbrush, work the control, let it dry. Saved more gear than a solder iron.
